§ Mr. Sproatasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will take steps to ascertain the subsidies, direct or indirect, given to the fishing industries of other member countries of the EEC, and of Norway, in light of the recent submission by the Scottish Trawlers Federation for subsidies.
§ Mr. William RossI already have information on various subsidies given to fishing industries in other countries and I will continue to keep myself informed.
