§ 43. Mr. Steenasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what steps he is proposing in order to assure continuity of funding for youth and community work exchange programmes between Great Britain and Common Market countries, and with special reference to Italy.
§ Mr. HattersleyI would refer the hon. Member to the replies given by my hon. Friend on 6th December.—[Vol. 882, c.665.]—Provision is being made within the sums then mentioned for youth exchanges with Italy. I hope it will be possible to continue to allocate funds for such purposes but cannot give a precise commitment in current economic circumstances.
