Mr. Buchanan

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list in the OFFICIAL REPORT the names of schools in Scotland affected by the second designation scheme and the list of schools in Scotland which would be affected by the third designation scheme.

Information about schools qualifying under the third scheme will not be available until the Scottish Teachers' Salaries Committee has completed its consideration of the third scheme, following receipt of the report of the Houghton Committee:
