HC Deb 18 December 1974 vol 883 c440W
41. Mr. Gould

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he is satisfied that present parliamentary procedures are adequate to ensure that no Community regulation can be made which runs counter to a resolution of the House.

Mr. Hattersley

The present procedure is adequate to enable the Government to take full account of a resolution of the House when determining their position on any draft regulation in the Council of Ministers.
