Mr. Penhaligon

asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list the number of registered unemployed building industry workers at the end of November for each of the past six years in Cornwall.

The following table shows the numbers of unemployed males registered at employment offices in Cornwall who last worked in construction:

The figures do not include those registered at careers offices.

Information about the numbers of employees in employment in local employment office areas in Cornwall is available only for each mid-year and the most recent figures are for June 1973. Following is the available information:
