HC Deb 16 December 1974 vol 883 c302W
30. Mr. Michael Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Trade whether he is satisfied that holidaymakers may make firm bookings through travel agents for next summer in the knowledge that their money is safe.

Mr. Deakins

At this stage I cannot add to my right hon. Friend's undertaking to introduce at an early date legislation to provide additional protection for people booking overseas holidays and travel who suffer loss as a result of the failure of air travel organisers.
