Mr. Ted Fletcher

asked the Secretary of State for Employment when he expects to make a statement on the location of the Health and Safety Commission.

Mr. Harold Walker

As I informed my hon. Friend in answer to a Question on 13th November, I have asked the commission to study this question and to let me have its recommendations when it is able to do so.—[Vol. 881, c. 161.]

Mr. Kilroy-Silk

asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will consider siting the Health and Safety Commission in Kirkby.

Mr. Harold Walker

I have asked the commission to study thoroughly the question of the ultimate location of its headquarters, and to let me have its considered advice as soon as it is able to do so.
