§ Mr. Edgeasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science (1) if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT the names and addresses of the voluntary aided schools;
(2) how many voluntary aided schools there are; and how many of these are Church schools.
§ Mr. ArmstrongIn January 1974 there were 5,101 voluntary aided schools in England and Wales; all but 92 were denominational schools. The cost of listing their names and addresses in the OFFICIAL REPORT would be disproportionate to the apparent usefulness of such a list.
