HC Deb 12 December 1974 vol 883 c244W
Mr. Blaker

asked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he expects further allocations to be made to the United Kingdom from the European Social Fund in respect of the year 1974; and what is his estimate of the amount.

Mr. John Fraser

Yes. The Social Fund Advisory Committee has recommended a further allocation of £12.9 million. This is subject to formal approval by the Commission. As £11.4 million has already been allocated to the United Kingdom we can expect a total allocation from the Fund in 1974 of over £24 million.
