§ Mr. Blakerasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he expects further allocations to be made to the United Kingdom from the European Social Fund in respect of the year 1974; and what is his estimate of the amount.
§ Mr. John FraserYes. The Social Fund Advisory Committee has recommended a further allocation of £12.9 million. This is subject to formal approval by the Commission. As £11.4 million has already been allocated to the United Kingdom we can expect a total allocation from the Fund in 1974 of over £24 million.
