§ Mr. JuddThe estimated running cost of the Royal Yacht in 1974–75 is £1.5 million. Her complement is 194 on a harbour running basis and 277 when the Royal Family are embarked. There are no plans to withdraw the Royal Yacht from service. The running costs continue to be borne on Defence Votes.
