§ Mr. ConcannonNone at present. Under the Rates (Northern Ireland) Order 1972, the regional rate is made by an order of the Department of Finance, which will be laid before Parliament. The district rate is made by resolution of the district councils. On the evidence available so far there are bound to be substantial increases in regional and district rates for 1975–76.
