HC Deb 11 December 1974 vol 883 cc152-3W
30. Mr. Campbell

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland, since his programme for the provision of beds for geriatric patients up to 1976 in West Dunbartonshire is only planned to replace existing facilities, when he hopes to be in a position to provide sufficient accommodation to meet the waiting list as detailed in his written reply of 4th December.

Mr. Robert Hughes

The present level of provision is considered adequate in relation to population and the health board has no plans for additional geriatric beds for this area. The waiting list is relatively small.
