§ Mr. Spearingasked the Minister of Overseas Development if she will list in the OFFICIAL REPORT the items of food aid made by the EEC since accession by the United Kingdom, stating the amounts concerned in each case, the financial arrangements, and the authorisations, other than regulations approved by the Council of Ministers.
§ Mrs. HartI regret the information is not available in my Ministry and could not be obtained from other sources and collated without disproportionate cost. However, some of the details can be found in particular agreements for EEC food aid, which are being presented by my right hon. Friend the Foreign and Commonwealth Secretary in the European Communities' series of Command Papers and will be available in the Library of the House as they appear. Five already issued cover agreements with 185W Indonesia (Cmnd. 5796), Mali (Cmnds. 5797 and 5800), Lebanon (Cmnd. 5798) and Bangladesh (Cmnd. 5801). It is expected that 15 more will be published this month and another 24 early next year.
