§ Mr. Merlyn ReesLong-standing provisions for the grant of special leave for urgent domestic reasons are applied sympathetically in present circumstances in Northern Ireland. This applies equally both in the Northern Ireland Office and184W the Northern Ireland Civil Service in order to relieve any cases of special strain or stress.
