HC Deb 10 December 1974 vol 883 cc142-3W
Mr. MacGregor

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what progress has been made on the proposals for revised traffic signs regulations; when they are likely to be laid before Parliament; and whether they will include proposals for such amenities as wild life and safari parks.

Mr. Carmichael

I hope that the new traffic regulations will be sent for printing before Christmas. They will be laid before Parliament as soon as possible thereafter. The regulations already permit local authorities to put up direction signs such as those indicating wild life and safari parks.
