asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether in view of the decision of the House of Lords in the recent case of two private detectives named Withers the time has not come to implement some of the recommendations of the Younger Committee Report on Privacy which was published in 1972.

Lord HARRIS of GREENWICH

The Government have not yet completed their consideration of all the issues raised in the Younger Committee's Report, but they will announce their conclusions as soon as it is feasible to do so.
