§ Mr. Trotterasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether it is proposed to maintain a Royal Naval patrol off Beira; and what is the estimated additional annual cost of doing so in the absence of the use of facilities in the Republic of South Africa.
§ Mr. JuddWe shall continue to fulfil our obligations under Security Council Resolution No. 221 of 1966. As for the continued use of facilities in South Africa, I would refer the hon. Member to the statements made by my right hon. Friends on 3rd and 4th December.
