§ Mr. Alec JonesI assume that the hon. Member is concerned with isolated days of incapacity and not with days which are in sufficiently close proximity to link under existing arrangements. I do not think that the medical involvement, administrative time and benefit expenditure necessary to pay sickness benefit for isolated days of incapacity could be justified.
