HC Deb 05 December 1974 vol 882 c589W
Mr. MacFarquhar

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will announce the names of persons who will advise on representations made to him against exclusion orders under the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1974.

Mr. Roy Jenkins

Yes. The right hon. Lord Alport, TD, and Ronald Waterhouse, Esq., QC, have accepted invitations to act as advisers, and I am grateful to them for indicating their willingness to serve. The intention is that each case referred for advice shall be considered by a single adviser. If experience shows that additional advisers are needed I shall announce further names.
