§ Mr. Ashtonasked the Lord President of the Council whether, in order to help impoverished organisations, he will allow collections to be taken at meetings held on their behalf in Committee Rooms of the House.
§ Mr. Edward ShortI am not aware of any standing rule which would debar a collection at an authorised meeting held in a Committee Room. If my hon. Friend has a particular occasion in mind perhaps he will let me know.
