§ Mr. Cartwrightasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will arrange for early issue of an amended customs tariff showing new rates of duty applicable from 1st January 1975 to implement the reductions in duties on EEC goods and the moves towards the common customs tariff due on that date under the Treaty of Accession.
§ Mr. DellOrders are being made today providing for the new rates of duty, and they will be laid very shortly. In order to give traders as much time as possible to study the details, the revised Customs and Excise tariff and related information is being issued forthwith.
