HL Deb 03 December 1974 vol 355 cc184-5WA
Lord BARNBY

asked Her Majesty's Government:

With regard to loans made during the past five financial years to India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, what amounts have, on agreed maturity dates, called for extension or rearrangement.

Baroness LLEWELYN-DAVIES OF HASTOE

All aid loans made to these three countries during the last five financial years have been interest-free, with seven years grace before repayment of any of the principal. There has therefore been no question of extension or rearrangement.
