§ Dr. GilbertThe Finance Bill will be published on Tuesday 10th December. 461W Short background notes will again be made available to Members in the Vote Office, along with the Bill itself. The background notes will be accompanied on this occasion by more detailed explanatory notes, prepared by the Board of Inland Revenue, on three sets of provisions in the Bill—those relating to capital transfer tax, life assurance and relief for stock appreciation.
