§ Mr. Alexander W. LyonSix licences were revoked in 1972, two in 1973, and one in 1974. The main reason in these cases was for operating on frequencies 345W other than those assigned for amateur use. In no other cases have the terms or provisions of the licence itself been limited.
If interference is being caused to broadcast reception an amateur may be required to close down his installation temporarily and to rectify defects in the equipment or, if his equipment is not at fault, to restrict his operations temporarily while the broadcast receivers are modified. National statistics are not readily available, but such cases amount to no more than five a year in the former category and no more than 100 a year in the latter.
