§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for Trade what financial and other contribution he intends to make to support International Women's Year.
§ Mr. ShoreMy right hon. Friend the Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs indicated on 20th and 27th November that the Government have invited the Women's National Commission to co-ordinate the United Kingdom's activities to mark International Women's Year and have agreed to make a grant of £10,000 to the commission for this purpose. I have no plans for the provision of separate financial assistance.
