§ Whether, in the light of the further information supplied to Lord Winter-bottom, they will consider bringing out a modern edition of Chart BR 84 (Geographical Distribution of British Empire Shipping), published by the Admiralty in 1936.
§ Lord WINTERBOTTOMThe publication referred to was last issued in 1938 as BR 135. Certain of the information covered is now contained inOverseas Trade Statistics of the United Kingdom published monthly by HMSO. The cost of publishing a chart of the Geographical Distribution of Shipping would not be justified in the present circumstances.
