HC Deb 30 April 1974 vol 872 c445W
Mr. Biffen

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is satisfied with security arrangements following the bomb incidents in London, Birmingham and Manchester in early April.

Mr. Roy Jenkins

I cannot be wholly satisfied with security arrangements unless they are 100 per cent. successful. But I think the measures taken by the Government and the police, with a view both to preventing outrages of this kind and to apprehending those responsible, are appropriate.
