§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Minister for the Civil Service if Dr. Ronald Press will 375W be retiring from the Civil Service at the customary age of 60 years; and if he will then be replaced by a chief scientific adviser.
§ Mr. Robert SheldonIt is not expected that Dr. Robert Press will retire from the Civil Service before September 1975, but the precise date of his retirement will be a matter for decision nearer that time, along with the subsequent allocation of responsibility within the Cabinet Office for advice on scientific and technological questions.
