§ Mr. Clinton DavisThese are matters for the Civil Aviation Authority. The authority has in recent months approved two increases of 6 per cent. and 7 per cent. respectively in fares for scheduled international services on account of heavy worldwide increases in civil aviation costs. The authority does not regulate prices for carriage on charter flights, but is monitoring the fuel surcharges which are being applied to determine whether they are fully justified.
