§ Mr. McCuskerasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will, in the interests of the lives of the security forces, ensure that only the minimum of street lighting is provided in Forkhill and Crossmaglen, Co. Armagh.
§ Mr. Merlyn ReesAt the present time the security advantages in Forkhill and Crossmaglen of reducing the level of street lighting are considered by the security forces to be negligible. The situation, however, is kept under constant review.
