§ Mr. Michael Spicerasked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) what are his plans with respect to the proposed bypass around Evesham, Worcestershire;
(2) whether he proposes major improvements to the A439–A435 link at Norton, Worcestershire;
(3) what are his plans with respect to the proposed bypass around Harvington, Worcestershire.
§ Mr. CarmichaelAs a result of my predecessor's decision that a new major road between Strensham and Solihull was not justified, alternative proposals, including bypasses, for the relief of congestions on existing roads in the area are now under active consideration. Proposals will be announced in due course.
