§ Mr. Robert SheldonThe report is published today as Command 5602. It makes recommendations on the method by which the pay of Civil Service scientists should be determined. In the terms of an exchange of correspondence at the time the reference was decided upon both sides agreed to accept the board's recommendations. We are now giving urgent consideration, with the Institution of Professional Civil Servants, to the action to be taken on them.
