§ LORD WELLS-PESTELLHer Majesty's Government strongly advise cigarette smokers who cannot give up the habit to reduce their intake of tar and nicotine, but the indications are that smokers who accept this advice are more likely to change to a brand with lower tar and nicotine yields than to use a special cigarette holder. Nevertheless, Her Majesty's Government are considering seeking advice on the efficiency of various types of filtration device.
