§ Dr. GilbertAn estimate for 1973 of net domestic fixed capital formation in manufacturing industry, after deducting capital consumption, is not yet available, but a preliminary estimate of gross domestic fixed capital formation in manufacturing industry at 1970 prices is given in Table 13 of the White Paper on Preliminary Estimates of National Income and Balance of Payments, Cmnd. 5575, March 1974. Table 1 of the White Paper also gives preliminary estimates for all industries combined of total gross domestic fixed capital formation and total capital consumption at current prices.
Estimates by industry of capital consumption and of net domestic fixed capital formation, at current and at 1970 prices, will appear in the National Income and Expenditure Blue Book to be published in September. Estimates for the years 1962 to 1972 appear in Table 62 of the 1973 Blue Book.
