asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what estimate she has made of the increase in the number of people who will be below the "poverty line" of supplementary benefit assessment as a result of her proposals in the National Insurance Bill.

None. Data on which a reliable estimate of the effects of the general increases in benefits proposed for 22nd July on the numbers of people with incomes below the supplementary benefit level are not currently available.
