§ Mr. Stephen Rossasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how much revenue would accrue if the existing cost of a dog licence were trebled; and whether he will consider taking such action.
§ Mr. MoyleAssuming that the number of licences remained unchanged the answer to the first part of the hon. Member's Question would be about £2 million more in Egland and Wales; i.e., £3 million in all. On the second part I would refer him to the reply which my hon. Friend the Minister of State gave to the Hon. Member for Dorset, South (Mr. Evelyn King) on 21st March 1974.—[Vol. 870, c.136–7.]
