§ Mr. Geraint Howellsasked the Secretary of State for Wales what plans there are to improve the A487 trunk road from Cardigan to Machynlleth at (a) the section between Penparcau and Rhydyfelin, and (b) the village of Glandyfi.
§ Mr. John MorrisAn improvement of Rhydyfelin Hill, Aberystwyth is included in the trunk road firm programme of schemes to be started in 1974–75, subject to the availability of the necessary land. A scheme for improvements at Furnace Bridge, including a bypass of Eglwysbach, is it the trunk road preparation pool and further investigations are proceeding to determine a suitable route for the continuation of the improvements through the Glandyfi area.
