§ Mr. Grahamasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will make a statement on the extent of staff shortages at North Middlesex Hospital, Edmonton.
§ Dr. OwenI regret that at present there is a shortage of 40 nursing staff, 28 engineering and works staff, 25 porters, orderlies and domestics. The shortage of nursing staff has caused the closure of two wards.
