§ Mr. Skeetasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) whether, when borrowing abroad to finance the United Kingdom deficit, Her Majesty's Government have made an attempt to mortgage Great Britain's future North Sea oil production;
(2) whether it is the intention of Her Majesty's Government to mortgage Great Britain's North Sea oil production in return for loans received from abroad.
§ Mr. DellHer Majesty's Government have neither attempted nor intend to mortgage future North Sea oil production.
