§ Mr. Marksasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will list in the OFFICIAL REPORT the school buildings projects approved and under consideration by him for 1974–75 and subsequent years in the area of Tameside Local Education Authority.
§ Mr. ArmstrongFor the 1974–75 building year, major primary and secondary school projects will be eligible for approval only where they are justified by basic need for additional places. The allocation of the available resources is under consideration. It is too soon to say what the position will be in subsequent years. The local education authority is responsible for the selection of 437W projects financed from minor works allocations.
