asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will take steps to expedite the appointment of works staff within the reorganised health service in Wales.

Mr. John Morris

As soon as agreement on salaries is reached by the appropriate Whitley Council the necessary arrangements will be made to enable the area health authorities to make the appointments.
