Mr. Costainasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what further consideration he intends to give to the details of the existing Channel Tunnel scheme before proceeding with the legislation necessary for its construction following completion of current preliminary operations under Phase II; and to what extent this will involve consultation with the French Government and other private financial groups involved in the project.
§ 62. Mr. Stanleyasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether the 352W Channel Tunnel is to be included in the Government's reappraisal of major development projects.
