§ 86. Sir David Rentonasked the Secretary of State for the Environment which method of linking the A1 and the M1 as part of an east-west motorway between the Midlands and the East Coast has been recommended by the consultants who have now reported to his Department.
§ Mr. CarmichaelThe preliminary findings of the feasibility study prepared by the consultants are now being examined by the Department. The con-368W sultants have been asked for further information, and if any definite proposals emerge the public will be consulted.
