asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what consideration he has given to the report of the Working Party on School Transport.

35. Mr. Madel

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what plans he has for altering the present regulations governing school transport; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Prentice

I hope soon to have the views of the local authority associations on the report of the Working Party on School Transport. When I have received and considered their views I will make a statement.
