HC Deb 02 April 1974 vol 871 c344W
Mr. Money

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether, in the light of the Sharp Report, he will institute a survey of local authority provision of specially adapted housing, suitable for disabled people, as covered by the terms of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970.

Mr. Freeson

My Department is already engaged in a comprehensive study of housing for disabled people with a view to issuing guidance on the extent and nature of the provision required. In this context adapted housing, new housing to normal Parker Morris standards and specially designed housing have been surveyed.
