§ Mr. William RossDuring the year ended 31st December 1973, 75 accredited herds in Ayrshire have become infected with brucellosis, a breakdown rate of 6 per cent., as compared with 42 herds—5 per cent.—during the year ended 31st December 1972; 10 herds have each had two breakdowns and one herd has had three.
