Friend's suggestion, together with any other representations he may receive, in connection with the Green Paper he proposes to publish on the wealth tax. In the meantime my right hon. Friend has announced in his Budget speech his intention to limit relief in future for mortgage interest payments to interest incurred on loans to purchase or improve a taxpayer's principal place of residence.
