§ 37. Mr. Sproatasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will seek to arrange regular meetings with representatives of the fishing industry to keep them fully informed of the latest situation in the development of North Sea oil, and to hear their views on the subject.
§ Mr. StrangRegular meetings take place between representatives of the fishing industry and officials of the Departments concerned. Should the need arise I or my colleagues in the Department would be happy to meet representatives and to hear their views.
§ Dr. Dickson Mahonasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will publish the latest estimate of the expected revenues to Her Majesty's Government from royalties in licence fees and taxation from North Sea oil and gas between 1974 and 1980, based on current tax and royalty rates.
