Mr. Gordon Wilson

asked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection, in view of the facts that prices of foodstuffs in Scotland are on average 5 per cent. above the average for the United Kingdom, that coal costs £1 per ton more than in England and that gas prices can be nearly 50 per cent. higher than in certain English regions, if she will take steps to equalise the differences.
