HC Deb 01 April 1974 vol 871 cc288-9W
Mr. Sillars

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations he has received from trade unions urging a change of policy by the British Government in relation to the acceptance by the British Embassy in Chile of political refugees; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Ennals

My right hon. Friend has received two letters from trade unions urging a change in policy in relation to the acceptance by the British Embassy in Chile of political refugees. I have nothing to add at this stage to what my right hon. Friend said in answer to questions on 27th March.—[Vol. 871, c. 423–5.]
